The more recent Agile Angler™ design performed very well in a porcine model versus 4 top competitors including a commercially available deflectable microcatheter.  All three IR physicians stated that Angler™ had the best torqueability and pushability and they all liked our auto-locking handle design.  It also tracked, deflected, and delivered embolics well in all targets in vivo.

The following video link shows the Agile Angler™ microcatheter quickly accessing the superior mesenteric artery using tip deflection and a guidewire.  This could not be done with competitive microcatheters without using an additional guide catheter.

The following video link shows the Agile Angler™ microcatheter being quickly maneuvered (without a guidewire) deep into a left hepatic artery branch by injecting puffs of contrast and deflecting the tip to select the artery.  This could not be done with any competitive microcatheters testing, including a commercially available pull-wire based deflectable microcatheter.
